Chef Kellie has her own backyard farm cooking school. Located in Pleasant Hill, CA nestled among fruit trees, an organic vegetable & herb garden, koi fish pond and waterfalls! There are friendly compost worms, honey bees, chickens and dogs! It’s the perfect setting for enjoying and learning about local & sustainable Farm to Table cooking!
The cooking facility is very special, as there is nothing like it in the San Francisco Bay Area! Indoor cooking takes place in a cozy 400 sq ft cooking studio. The cooking studio is fully equipped with stainless prep tables, gas stove, pizza oven and commercial cookware. Outdoor cooking equipment includes: a wood pellet smoker, propane grill and propane stove and ovens. Dining (weather permitting) is al fresco, pond side.
Chef Kellie offers custom cooking classes for children and teens, including a teen summer camp. She also teaches adults with varied skill levels. Each class is customized according to what you desire! Class size ranges from 1-7 students. Culinary classes are perfect for birthdays, anniversary fun, “girls night out”, team building, parent child bonding, or just exploring new cooking techniques and cuisines.
